DEPOSIT:  Lumberjack Festival  
 
    One of our most popular recreational opportunity is the annual Lumberjack Festival, always the 3rd weekend in July. 
     The festival displays Deposit at its best—the Game of Logging competition; the Jack and Jill logging competition; many other events, including rides, vendors, fireworks, a parade, and the Rafts Races down the Delaware on Sunday morning.  Lumber and the river have always been an integral part of life in Deposit and the Lumberjack Festival celebrates that.
